Walmart+, essentially Walmart’s version of Amazon Prime, comes with a lot of perks, like savings on gas and auto care, free online pet care, and free delivery and shipping for groceries and prescriptions. Now, you can also choose between an included subscription to Paramount+ Essential or Peacock Premium, at no extra charge.

And with a Walmart+ membership half off, you can’t beat gaining a streaming platform and Walmart’s membership perks for only $48 per year. This is a great deal that only comes around once a year, and it’s perfect if you’re looking to condense your subscriptions while still maintaining access to popular shows and benefit from Walmart’s premium membership offers.
Not sure which streaming platform you want? That’s ok. If you want to try both Paramount+ and Peacock, you can even switch services every 90 days.
Also: You can get a year of HBO Max for only $3 a month right now – new and existing customers included
Walmart+ is a fairly new service (it launched in September 2020), but Walmart consistently adds new features and incentives to sweeten the pot. In addition to the streaming services, Walmart+ offers its users free next-day and two-day shipping, free prescription delivery, and free grocery delivery on orders over $35.
Other perks include savings on gas and auto care, free 24/7 online pet care, free returns from home (without needing to print a slip or repackage items), up to 5% of Walmart Cash for travel expenses, a 5% back credit card, the ability to scan and check out with your phone in stores, and early access to online deals. Also, you can get 25% off your digital Burger King order every day, and a free Whopper every three months. Obviously, terms and conditions apply to a host of these benefits, but it’s a pretty wide range of perks.
Also: This Black Friday Disney+ and Hulu bundle is one of the best streaming deals for $5 a month
In addition, Walmart+ is currently offering some perks with limited eligibility that won’t be around for long, including a discounted membership and one month free of Crunch Peak Results, 30 days of free Crunchyroll Premium, 60 days of free eMeals plans plus $10 of Walmart cash, and three free months of the PlayKids+ app. Just access the Walmart+ site and click “Start your free 30-day trial.”

An annual subscription to Walmart+ is usually $98 per year, but if you’re on government assistance or a college student, you might qualify for 50% off that price, which is available anytime. If you don’t fall into either of those categories, you’re still in luck, because Walmart+ is 50% off for everyone, and now is the perfect time to test out if the upgrade to Walmart+ (with free streaming of your choice) is worth it for you.
How I rated this deal
This deal is, to put it bluntly, really good. That’s why we’ve given it a 5/5 Editor’s deal rating. The number of perks included in the Walmart+ membership are noteworthy alone, but I’m especially impressed by the ability to change which streaming subscription you get after 90 days, and Walmart+’s commitment to ensuring that students and those on government assistance can also benefit from these features. Plus, you can’t beat $48 per year for both streaming and retailer services.
