The Meta Oakley HSTN Limited Edition smart glasses pack an eight-hour battery life into a single charge (up from four on the Meta Ray-Bans) and up to 48 hours with the fully charged carrying case.
They also better support activities across multiple terrains an IPX4 water resistance rating, which is better durability from the Ray-Bans. It also takes better video, capturing 3K video, increased from 1080p on the classic Meta Ray-Bans.
The 12 MP ultrawide camera features sensors along the side of the frame — great for recording POV shots during your outdoor adventures, along with two open-ear Bluetooth speakers and a custom five-mic array.

Despite the more rugged form than the OG Ray-Bans, we found the Oakleys to be more comfortable, weighing just 49 grams. Paired with the hands-free UI, you can sync to Apple Music and messages, so you don’t have to worry about looking at your phone while you’re out doing your thing.
As far as the free backpack goes, Oakley’s Enduro 3.0 backpack is regularly priced at $105 but comes free with the smart glasses for Cyber Monday. It’s a pretty big bag, with a spacious 27L capacity made with durable, water-resistant materials, making it a solid partner to the smart glasses for any outdoor adventure.
