President Donald Trump said he will deliver a live address to the nation from the White House on Wednesday night.
“It has been a great year for our Country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!” the president posted on Truth Social on Tuesday. The address is slated for 9 p.m. ET, the post said.
“I look forward to ‘seeing’ you then,” Trump wrote.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump would tout the president’s accomplishments from his first 11 months in office as well as plans to “continue delivering for the American people over the next three years.”
“It’s going to be a really good speech,” Leavitt told reporters at the White House.
“He’s going to talk a lot about the accomplishments over the past 11 months. All that he’s done to bring our country back to greatness.”
