Cyber Week may be long gone, but there are still plenty of great smartphone deals online. T-Mobile has rolled out a range of seasonal promotions on its website, offering compelling discounts on smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches. Because there are so many deals to sift through, I’ve gathered the top five T-Mobile holiday offers available right now. There’s no ranking here; each one stands tall on its own. These are all winners in my book.

T-Mobile is offering people the opportunity to get the iPhone 17 Pro at no cost… for the most part. You will need to sign up for the Experience Beyond plan with AutoPay Enabled, which is $100 a month. You’ll also need to cover taxes, fees, and a $35 connection charge. Still, it’s a nice break compared to having to pay $1,100 up-front for a 256GB iPhone 17 Pro.

There is one requirement that you must meet. You must trade in an eligible phone. T-Mobile doesn’t specify exactly what qualifies as an eligible phone, but the company does give an example. Trading in an iPhone 13 Pro in good condition (it still powers on, has an intact screen, and shows no signs of water damage) will net you the full $1,100 discount. However, if you trade in an older model, you may have to pay the difference. In another example, trading in an iPhone 12 Pro will only drop the price by $830, meaning you’ll have to pay the remaining $270 out of your pocket.

Additionally, this deal is exclusive to the 256GB model.

Through T-Mobile, you could walk away with up to four base Galaxy S25 models for free. This offer is exclusive to the 128GB version. Unlike the iPhone deal, no trade-ins are required. All you need to do is transfer your current phone number to the Essentials promo plan at $25 a month per phone. Like the previous entry, you will need to pay the $35 connection charge, taxes, and fees.

It’s worth noting that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has been discounted to $12.50 per month on T-Mobile’s website, though the base S25 may be the smarter buy. ZDNET contributing writer Prakhar Khanna praised the device for delivering “a flagship experience in a smaller form factor.” The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset enhances performance, battery endurance, and camera quality, while also enabling Samsung’s AI features, such as Now Brief.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, Metro by T-Mobile is running its own promotions. For a limited time, new customers can sign up for an unlimited 5G line for $40 per month, with no activation fees or additional taxes, backed by a five-year price guarantee. This deal means the prices for talk, text, and data will remain unchanged for the next five years. To sweeten the deal, customers can select a complimentary phone: the Samsung Galaxy A16, Motorola Moto G, or a Moto G Power.

Do note that users who exceed 35GB of monthly data will see slower speeds during peak times, and video playback is limited to standard definition.

All three devices are solid choices, but I recommend the Moto G Power, which I tested earlier this year. The phone boasts a large 6.8-inch Full HD+ display, capable day-to-day performance, and an exceptional battery life.

Metro by T-Mobile is also offering a free iPhone 16e as part of a new limited-time promotion.

The deal is a little complicated, however. New customers who transfer their current number to a qualifying plan must first pay $100 for the iPhone. After three months of service, Metro will then send a link to claim a $100 virtual prepaid Mastercard, effectively reimbursing the purchase. Qualifying plans start at $40 a month, and include unlimited talk, text, and data, plus a five-year price lock.

The terms can be a bit confusing, but you do get a great mobile device. The iPhone 16e is the brand’s latest budget-friendly model, perfect for anyone who wants the same high-quality experience the series is known for without flagship prices. It boasts a 6.1-inch OLED screen with impressive color accuracy, a 48MP Fusion Camera system capable of capturing 4K video, plus a battery life of up to 26 hours.

To wrap things up, here’s an awesome Google Pixel promotion. T-Mobile is offering customers a free Pixel phone, along with a complimentary set of Pixel Buds 2, as an exclusive online bundle. While the Pixel 10 is the primary focus in the deal, the offer actually applies to the Pixel 9a and the entire Pixel 10 lineup.

As with the iPhone 17 Pro, you will need to trade in an eligible phone to receive the full discount. Again, the trade-in program is lenient. You just need to exchange a relatively recent device in good working condition. You must also sign up for T-Mobile’s $60 per month plan with AutoPay enabled, plus pay all applicable taxes, fees, and more. Remember that the availability of this deal depends on the remaining stock of the Pixel Buds 2a.
