Apple trying stall India antitrust case by challenging penalty law, regulator says

NEW DELHI, Dec 1 : Apple is attempting to stall antitrust proceedings against the company by challenging India’s antitrust penalty law, India’s antitrust regulator told a New Delhi court in response to the tech company’s legal challenge.

Apple last month challenged India’s antitrust penalty law that allows the regulator to use global turnover when calculating the penalties it imposes on companies for abusing their market dominance.
