It’s the new year, and the tech industry’s biggest event of the year is already here: CES 2026. This is the tech industry’s first major showcase of the year, and it’s prime time for brands to share what’s on the way and launch new products across every major category, from oddball gadgets and gizmos to PCs, laptops, TVs, AI, and beyond. This year, we’ve already seen some futuristic new products on display, like LG’s uber-thin Wallpaper TV, Samsung’s Galaxy TriFold smartphone, a wearable AI pin, and more.

With so many conceptual ideas and models at the event, it’s hard to know what the everyday consumer can really look forward to buying. That’s where we come in. As ZDNET’s shopping and advice editors, we’re the perfect pair of experts to funnel down the best CES tech that you can buy — or in most cases, preorder — right now.

With one of us on the ground in Las Vegas, and the other working remotely, we’re able to cover the best new gadgets to spend your money on right now, and any gap in between. Here’s the scoop on the most exciting ready-to-buy (or soon-to-purchase) CES 2026 products.

Our reviews editor Kerry Wan got a look at the latest TCL X11L TV, and he says it’s the model to beat right now at CES 2026. The TCL’s X11L targets color accuracy with Micro RGB and SQD Mini LED tech. It offers 20,000 dimming zones and 10,000 nits push premium brightness and contrast. And it’s not lacking in sound, either. A Bang & Olufsen soundbar and Google TV add flagship appeal to the flashy model. You can technically purchase the X11L starting at a cool $6,000 for the 75-inch. The 85-inch and 98-inch models are available for $8,000 and $10,000, respectively. However, it appears that the 85-inch is the only model in-stock at the time of publication of this piece.

The C-200 is no ordinary chef’s knife: It vibrates 30,000 times per second, allowing it to cut through food more easily. You can’t feel the vibrations, but ZDNET editor Sabrina Ortiz said it was far easier to chop vegetables when the vibration mode was turned on — and that food was less likely to stick to the blade, making for easier cleanup. You can preorder one now, to be released in March, for $399.

Beauty tech is also present at this year’s CES event. iPolish lets you choose from over 400 nail polish colors at the touch of a button thanks to a unique set of acrylic nails that change color digitally.

The acrylic press-on nails connect to an app, where you can choose from tons of colors. Simply place the tip of the nail inside a small wand device that resembles a small portable power bank, and the color changes almost instantly.

Ditch the salon with a starter kit starting at $95, and choose between the acrylic shapes “Long Squoval” or “Medium Ballerina.” Replacement nail sets will cost $6, and while you can preorder kits as early as now, iPolish won’t be available until June 2026 according to the brand’s website.

New tech is pretty sweet … especially when it’s literally embedded into candy.

Lollipop Star from Lava Tech, is a lollipop that uses bone conduction technology to play songs from your mouth to your inner ear and its on display at CES 2026. It’s certainly a novelty experience, and managing editor Allison DeNisco Rayome got to test it. “The rep at the booth guided us to move the lollipop to the back of our mouths and bite down a bit with our molars to get the music started. It was rather quiet, even with earplugs in, but you could indeed hear the song,” DeNisco Rayome says.

Right now, you can pick from three flavors featuring Akon, Ice Spice, and Armani White. Lollipop Stars appear to be available soon for $9 a pop (pun intended). The brand has an exclusive preorder page up on its live site now.

Moft’s classic snap-on phone stand and wallet is one of our favorite minimalist and no-fuss MagSafe wallet options that we’ve tested. It’s sleek, compact, and perfect for everyday use on the go. It also comes in a wide variety of colors to match many phone cases, and it’s under $50. At CES, Moft just made it better — enabling this flagship style with Apple’s Find My Bluetooth tracking.

Forget AirTags or Bluetooth tracker cards — now you won’t need either to keep track of your phone’s wallet, which is perfect if you’re worried about bumping your wallet off your device or you frequently take your MagSafe accessories off your phone. Moft’s new wallet technically isn’t available yet, but you can subscribe for an exclusive discount to use when some of the brand’s CES launches like this one become available in late January.
