1. Jane Zhang concert tour (Guangzhou)
Known as the “Dolphin Princess” for her signature whistle register, Sichuan-born singer Jane Zhang is bringing her world tour to Guangzhou.
Zhang’s list of accolades includes multiple awards for best female singer in mainland China at the Beijing Pop Music Awards, and a best original film song award at the Hong Kong Film Awards in 2009. She has recorded theme songs for several Hollywood films, including Terminator Genisys (2015).
Centred on the theme of “chasing”, Zhang’s concert tour captures her steadfast commitment to her musical ambitions. The production unfolds across imagined worlds through an interplay of lighting, props and costumes, from the deep sea to starry skies and fields of flowers.
